Monday	Literature: "The Hitchhiker" by Lucille Fletcher: -          Read and analyze pages 88 till 90 -          Foreshadowing/ sound effects of a Radio Play/ proof	Students answer the following questions based on the pages read in class: 1-What is Adam's destination? Where and when did he begin his journey? 2-Why is Adam's mother crying? 3-In what kind of mood does Adams begin his trip? 4-What happened to change how he feels?
Tuesday	Literature: "The Hitchhiker" by Lucille Fletcher: -          Read and analyze pages 91 till 93 -          Discussion prompts to help students understand the character's emotions as his journey progresses.	Students answer the following questions based on the pages read in class: 1-What happens the first time Adams sees the hitchhiker? 2-What is Adam's theory about how the hitchhiker beat him to the Skyway? 3-Why does Adams start to get nervous when he sees the hitchhiker a third time?
Wednesday	Literature: "The Hitchhiker" by Lucille Fletcher: -          Read and analyze pages 94 till 97 -          Discuss visuals on page 96	Students answer the following questions based on the pages read in class: 1-Why does Mrs. Whitney answer the phone instead of Adam's mother? 2-How does Adams react to the news that he heard on the phone? 3-What do you think will happen now?
Thursday	Literature: "The Hitchhiker" by Lucille Fletcher: -          In pairs, students answer question sheets about the story. -          In groups, students act out the play!	Two worksheets about the play (will be posted on the blog on Wed.)
